Welcome to my blog! As a retired hospital Chaplain serving adult and pediatric critical care patients, I have been blessed and honored to share in some of the most difficult and vulnerable moments in many others’ lives. While I sought to bring comfort and understanding to the varied and complex beliefs people hold, as so often happens, I learned a great deal more about myself.
As I continue to volunteer in my community through my church and local hospice organization by visiting the sick and homebound, their families, caregivers and loved ones, I hope to share some of these experiences with insights into their journeys, and mine. May this serve as a beautiful reminder knowing that through faith and responsibility we are never alone in our life’s trials.
